Title: Senior Business Development Manger

JOB DESCRIPTION:

BOLD is seeking an outgoing and motivated Senior Business Development Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving client outreach and executing strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships and networking at industry events. A successful Senior Business Development Coordinator will be a skilled salesperson capable of representing our firm effectively in the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively network with industry professionals, clients and businesses to enhance our visibility and reputation

  • Drive outreach efforts to prospective clients and projects

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our work and attract new business opportunities

  • Attend meetings and industry events to connect with potential clients and represent our firm

  • Participate in strategy and planning

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects and other stakeholders

  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective clients while providing recommendations to senior leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a sales/marketing position; experience with an AEC firm is a plus

  • Experience and/or study in Marketing, English/Literature, Architecture/Lighting Design/Interior Design or a related area

  • Established connections and experience within the interior, architectural, and lighting design fields are highly desirable.

  • Excellent knowledge of RFPs/proposals or grant-writing is ideal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus

  • Excellent research, copywriting, and organizational skills, with a strong understanding of development projects worldwide

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines

  • Proficient English speaker with excellent communication skills

SALARY RANGE:

A base salary starting at $80,000, plus commission


ENTRY LEVEL DESIGNERS
Title: Junior Lighting Designers & Lighting Designer I

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking lighting designers at various levels of experience, preferably within the architectural and design industries. The role involves assisting project managers and senior lighting designers in producing documentation for our creative design process.

The daily responsibilities include creating detailed designs using AutoCAD and Revit, constructing physical mock-ups and models to test lighting concepts, creating visual renderings to showcase the designs, and performing energy compliance modeling to ensure designs meet energy efficiency regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s degree required in Interior Design, Architecture, or Lighting Design
·         0-2+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design or equivalent
·         AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Revu Bluebeam
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         Hand drawing skills are a plus
·         Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Junior Lighting Designer: starting at $50,000

Lighting Designer I: starting at $58,000


INTERMEDIATE DESIGNERS
Title: Lighting Designer II

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an intermediate lighting designer with experience in the architectural lighting industry. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative and communication skills and the ability to manage projects from schematic design through construction administration.

The candidate would be responsible for managing junior designers and project designers, assisting in the production of documentation through the design process, and tracking project budgets. The candidate would also be expected to provide design guidance and to solve technical lighting questions under the supervision of senior lighting designers, sStudio Leaders or the Creative Director.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s degree required in Interior Design, Architecture, or Lighting Design
·         Minimum 3-4+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design or equivalent
·         AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Revu Bluebeam, Agi32 or other light modelling software, COMCheck or other energy compliancy software
·         Familiarity with ASHRAE/IES 90.1 Standards, IES Standards and Guidelines and LEED Standards relative to Lighting
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         On-site experience preferred but not required
·         Ability to travel nationally and globally preferred but not required
·         Hand drawing skills are a plus
·         Must be fluent in written and spoken English
SALARY RANGE: $68,000 - $75,000


INTERMEDIATE DESIGNERS
Title: Senior Lighting Designer, Associate Lighting Designer, Senior Associate Lighting Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our architectural lighting design team. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects from schematic design through completed construction. This candidate would be able to work independently with little direction from the Studio Leaders and Creative Director.

 Daily responsibilities for this role include developing redlines for design documentation, managing timelines, attending meetings and site visits, and scheduling in-house design reviews with the Studio Leaders and the Creative Director.   


QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s degree required in Interior Design, Architecture, or Lighting Design
·         6+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design
·         AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Revu Bluebeam, Agi32 or other light modelling software, COMCheck or other energy compliancy software
·         Familiarity with ASHRAE/IES 90.1 Standards, IES Standards and Guidelines and LEED Standards relative to Lighting
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         On-site experience required
·         Must have completed projects
·         Ability to travel nationally and globally preferred but not required
·         Understanding proposals, project fees and billing schedules
·         Hand drawing skills are a plus
·         Must be fluent in written and spoken English

 SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $125,000
